There is a new press release

It is fairly long, but in short it states that the team plans to install

to take 6 meters. They state,
"As we don't have enough people to man a separate station on 6m, we plan to install CW Skimmer on a separate radio which is always on stand-by. If there will be any signal on the band, we will get notice of it via our network and can easily man the 6m station."They have also mentioned that they have decided to charter a second boat which will deliver some more fuel to the island, necessary for continous operation during their planned extended timeframe. The only purpose of this second boat until now is to bring fuel, fresh food, drinks and maybe needed equipment to Willis Island. As there is a place for 16 people on this boat they thought: "Why not offer a a four day trip to visit VK9DWX?" Yep, you can have a chance to see the guys operate during their October VK9DWX DXpedition. Complete details are available on the above Web page.
