There will be a station on every band from 160-6 meters with second stations on 80 and 20 meters so they can operate on CW and SSB at the same time. This should be a fun and easy operation to work anywhere. Activity is expected to last until September 24th. The 3B7C Web page is available at:

OH0Z PIRATE ALERT
Juha, OH9MM, sent out the following press release:
"Since 27 June 2007 there has been a lot of pirate activity. Most of the pirate activity has been on 10MHZ cw. Primetime for pirate has been so far around 17Z.ADDED NOTE: OH0Z will be on for both modes of the SAC Scandinavian Contest, September 15-16th (CW) and September 22-23rd (SSB), 80-10M. OH1JT will be the operator, SOAB in CW, and OH1RX + OH9MM (maybe also others) M/S in SSB. QSL via W0MM. Special prefix may also be used.Luckily the pirate has been very rude (operating quite long periods). It has been relatively easy to trace. Most of the signals have been sent from the same area. However, we need some more data to contact the telecommuni- cation authorities. Only groups of voluntary people across Europe have identified the antenna directions so far. Even at this point OH0Z team would like to thank them for good co-operation! In the future: if the pirate keeps on going, please also inform the antenna direction in the spot. Just a reminder, our station is located in square locator JP90…
We have also built an automatic system to monitor the use of OH0Z call. Practically we are receiving OH0Z spots directly to our mobile phones. We can also turn this system off, please no kidding with cluster spots!
Untill further information OH0Z is now totally QRT on 10MHZ. All the future activations on 10MHZ can now be claimed as pirate activations.
OH0Z has been active on 10MHZ only two times this year:
26 27. May 2007 operated by OH3BHL
24 26. Jun 2007 operated by OH9MM
Before sending any qsl please check log search at our page www.oh0z.net. It contains all 10mhz contacts. We were on the island last weekend preparing new antennas for the upcoming contest season (1-2 September). Few qso’s were made on 80m, 20m and 17m (log seach will be updated soon). No activity on 10Mhz…Normally we are active during contests. Some “warm up” qso’s before and after the tests. Holiday style operations may occur, but they are very rare! In normal situations we are not active during the week. We are also trying to publish our activities in advance in major bulletins as much as possible!
Please notice that we are also renting the OH0Z place with certain terms. There is no need to operate with our call sign in your home.
On behalf of RadioSporting Team (OH0Z).... Juha Valimaki, OH9MM"
P29, PAPUA NEW GUINEA (New IOTAs)
Operators Luis/CT1AGF, Derek/G3KHZ,

6 days starting about September 30th. Finally, if time permits, they will
sail to Kilinalau Island (OC-256, aka Tulun Islands) and operate from there
for a few days, possibly as P29VLR, between October 6-9th before returning
to Buka. The dates may vary a little depending on the local weather. They
expect to operate on all bands, including 160 and 80 meters, with possibly
3-4 stations, two amplifiers, verticals and a multiband dipole. Their
plan is to run 4 stations simultaneously from 2 sites on each island.
This should allow simultaneous operation from two stations on the same
band using different modes. Two stations will use 500w linears and two
stations will use 100w. QSL P29NI via G3KHZ. QSL P29VCX and the Kilinalau
Island operation via SM6CVX. The group is looking for support from the ham
