This week's bulletin was sent out earlier
than normal to accommodate the late CQWW DX SSB Contest announcements.
Also, we wanted to provide the readers with a consolidated listing

Hrane, YT1AD, informs OPDX that he will be joining a team
of operators from 3V8BB and will be active in the CQWW DX SSB Contest
(October 28-29th) as 3V6T as a Multi-2 or Multi-Single entry. QSL via

4Z0, ISRAEL (Special Event)
Just a reminder that the Holyland DX Group
will operate as 4Z0J from the "Jesus Boat" located near the Sea of Galilee
in Yigal Alon's Center on November 3-4th starting at 0700z and ending on
Saturday at 1500z. Operators will be Shalom/4Z4BS, Mark/4Z4KX, Ilya/4Z1UF,
Ros/4Z5LA, Ruben/4Z5FI, Yuli/4X6HP and Jan/4X1VF. Activity will be CW/SSB
on all bands 80-10 meters. The square for the Holyland Award is M05KT. The
group also plans to operate mobile from several squares around the main

5H, TANZANIA (IOTA Op)
Giovanni (John), I5JHW, will be active as 5H1HW
on Zanzibar Island (AF-032) between November 7-22th. Activity will be
on SSB and RTTY, using an IC-7000 with a SGC 500 and verticals. QSL via
I5JHW, direct or by the bureau.
5H, TANZANIA (IOTA Op)
Sam, F6AML (TX6A), a member of "F6KOP TEAM" will
be active from Zanzibar Island (AF-032) between January 18-29th. Activity
will be on 80-10 meters CW/SSB with 400 watts and verticals. The callsign
will be known later. Sam will pay special attention for west coast NA and
JA (Asia) stations. QSL is OK via the bureau or direct with SAE + 1 IRC
or with 1 USD for Europe or 2 USDs for the rest of the world.
5Z, KENYA
Alex, 5Z4DZ (PA3DZN), will be active as 5Z1A during the CQWW
DX SSB Contest (October 28-29th) as a Single-Op/Single-Band (20m)/High-

Mike, C33IU (K9MW), announced that he will be active on
November 4-5th. Suggested frequencies are: 2m for the IARU Contest,
3050-3060 and 7000-7035 kHz. On the November 19th, look for between

Section as EF8A during the ARRL 10 Meters Contest (December 9-10th) as

Eduard, EY7AF, will be active in the CQWW DX SSB Contest

FT5X, KERGUELEN ISLANDS
Gildas (Gil), TU5KG, has been active as FT5XP/mm
in the Austral Sea (in Southern Indian Ocean) on a fishing boat
near/around the Kerguelen Islands. He is expected to be active from
Port aux Francais, Kerguelen Islands, as FT5XP during the CQWW DX SSB
Contest weekend. No accurate dates or times were specified. He will
also be on Kerguelen the weekend of November 25-26th (for fuel refill).

Rich, K2WR, will be active as GJ2A during the CQWW DX CW
Contest (November 25-26th) as a Single-Op/All-Band/High-Power entry.

HI, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Members of the Lomadeltoro Contest Team will be
active as HI3CCP in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest (October 28-29th). QSL via

HK0, SAN ANDRES AND PROVIDENCIA
Look for Gerd, DL7VOG, to be active as
HKØGU from Providencia Island (IOTA NA-049), November 15th through December
1st. Activity will be on 160-10 meters CW, RTTY and SSB, using an IC-706
MKIIG and vertical Butternut HF9V. For 160 meters, he will set up a vertical

JT1, MONGOLIA
Harry, WX8C, will be active as JT1/WX8C during the CQWW

KH6, HAWAII
Kurt, W6PH, will be active from "Sea Q Maui" as KH6/W6PH
during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 25-26th) as a Single-Op/All-Band/

KH8S, SWAINS ISLAND (Update)
An international team of twelve experienced
operators lead by Hrane Milosevic, YT1AD, and co-lead by David Collingham,
K3LP, will activate Swains Island, April 3-16th, 2007, using the callsign
N8S (November Eight Sugar). Hrane and David have been in direct contact
with Larry Gandy, AH8LG, to gain a clear understanding of the island's
requirements for permission to operate. The Swains Island permission to
operate was confirmed via E-mail from Larry Gandy on October 23rd. Their
team has reached an agreement that meets the specified Swain Island
requirements.
The N8S DXpedition team includes: Hrane/YT1AD, David/K3LP, Krassimir/K1LZ, Kamal/N3KS, Doug/N6TQS, Eugene/RK3AD, Harry/RA3AUU, Vangelis/SV2BFN, Andrew/UA3AB, Roman/RZ3AA, Stevan/YZ7AA and Vel/YZ1BX. The team will depart to Swains Island on the morning of Monday, April 2, 2007. The boat ride from American Samoa will take approximately 24 hours with the team arriving and setting up camps on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. The operation will begin late Tuesday, April 3, 2007, and will end late Monday, April 16, 2007, providing 14 days of active operation. There will be a CW Camp, SSB Camp and Digital/6 Meter Camp each supplied with three ICOM radios, ACOM amplifiers and required antennas. The team will depart Swains Island around noon on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, and arrive back in American Samoa on the morning of Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
The QSL Manager and Web site information will be provided at a later date. At this time there is no plan for daily on-line logging. The logs will be posted on-line after April 27, 2007.
PACIFIC TRIP
Hrane, YT1AD, informs OPDX that he will be making a couple
of stops in the Pacific during the first part of the new year. Look for
him to be active as KH8/N9YU from American Samoa between January 24-29th.
Also, look for him to be active as 3D2AD from Fiji between January 30th
and February 3rd. QSL via YT1AD.
PJ4, NETHERLANDS ANTILLES
Bob, K0NR, will be active as PJ4/K0NR from
Bonaire (IOTA SA-006) from October 28th to November 9th. Activity will
be on SSB and PSK31 on 30-6 meters. Also, he will be active on FM OSCAR
satellites (Grid FK52). QSL to his home callsign.

Serge has replied to more than 500 cards so far, so he still has 1500 cards at home to send to DXer's requests (nice card from UX5UO that you can see under VY0ICE on QRZ.com).
