REALTIME BAND CONDITIONS WEB SITE :
The purpose of this experimental Web site is to provide 24-7-365 actual
(REALTIME) band condition information to CW QRPp, QRPe and CW/SSB for
Contesters interested in increasing their scores. It can also be of
benefit to other Radio Amateurs to determine band conditions for Nets
and casual QSO's. This information is NOT based on any software pre-
dictions or any kind of satellite based readings. It is based on a
new Ionospheric sounding method called "HF Ionospheric Interferometry"
which operates very similarly to the PolSAR system used by NASA.

5A1A/5A1AL QSL CHANGE. Abubaker, 5A1AL, reports on QRZ.com: Beginning
July 30, 2016, the QSL process for 5A1AL and 5A1A (1995-2001) will be
through my QSL Manager, Randy - W5UE. He will also upload the QSO(s)
to LoTW after the OQRS request is made.
There are still a few QSOs remaining on my paper logs. If your QSO(s)
are missing in the online (OQRS) log, just send me a short email with
the QSO(s) details, and I will work with my QSL Manager to resolve the
  missing contact.
I would like to thank all of my amateur radio friends who have sup-
ported me and enabled me to keep 5A on the air under these unstable
and unsafe conditions that we are experiencing. A special thanks to
  AB6Z, W5UE, W6GJB, N6TA, W6PK, K6MKF, k0YQ, N6RK, N6NU and K5AZZ for
  their support and encouragement.
I apologize if I have left any one of my dear friends and supporters
  off this list.
This list of supporters is not closed by any means! You can be part
of the support team that helps me keep 5A on The air. Email me for
  details..... 73, Abubaker - 5A1AL

Sartoretti, KC2SYF, had obtained a permit from the National Parks Service
to operate from the White House President's Park-Ellipse (NPOTA DZ10).
Activity took place between Friday, August 5th, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT,
and Saturday, August 6th, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The group had two 100
watt HF stations (40/20/10m) operating split. A satellite station along
with 2m simplex was also planned. Due to park restrictions the antennas
can not be higher than 8ft.

TL, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (Update). Ken, LA7GIA, will be active as
TL8AO from Bangui between November 10-22nd. Ken already has his license
and has received his LoTW certificate. Activity will be on 80-15 meters
(possibly 10m as well, no 160m) using mainly CW (SSB on 20/15m). He
states on his Web page the following:
        * TL8AO is primarily a Single-Op DXpedition.
        * The QSO target is 15,000 Qs -- in 10 full days
        * His goal is to generate as much donations possible where 100%
of donations received will be given to the DWOB (Doctors With-
          Out Borders).
        * First ALL donations are voluntary - there is no expectation
that you donate. See his Web for more details.
        * He likes to keep the DXpedition and the Humanitarian fund-raising
as two separate issues. He tries to generate donations to the
humanitarian fund-raising only. BUT, he still encourages the DXers
to work him on as many band slots and modes as possible.
The complete log will be uploaded to LoTW the same day he returns from
TL. The log will also be on ClubLog. OQRS to be activated, and QSL Manager
is Charles, M0OXO. Look for more details/updates on his Web page at:
                            http://www.la7gia.com
